…and it begins! MOVING DAY IS HERE!

I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I am hoping for a smooth move and so far so good.

  1. Moving day is here. While I am not done, more work coming, new graphics coming – I think it is time to move to AttentionDealShoppers.com. If I don’t just  do it, I fear it will just drag on forever. I can’t do that to you or to me so just pack up your virtual luggage and let’s go.
  2. I have imported ALL email feed subscribers from all of my blogs to the new FeedMailPro subscriber database for AttentionDealShoppers.com. All 3887 of you are now set to receive the new email feed from ADS!!! The emails are set up to send out at 1AM CDT.
  3. Are you an RSS subscriber??? You will need to please click through on the RSS link below so that you are subscribed via an RSS reader.  If you are just finding my blog & deals, please click through on the Email link below for daily email updates if that is your preferred method of following the deals.
  4. Subscribe to daily updates by RSS or Email.

  5. IF you were subscribed to more than one of my blogs (ever), don’t worry. FeedMailPro has sifted through and is only allowing one email for each subscriber to be added. This means there will NOT be any multiple emails. WOW, that was a huge relief to know.

Please be patient as I continue to work to get the blog feed going through Facebook and Twitter. It should be easy but I just never know what I will run into.

Last, thanks to each and everyone of you who have ever followed me, the deals and the insanity of my blogging adventures. I know that some of you may elect to unsubscribe (OH I HOPE NOT!) because you don’t like the new stores & deals that I will be including on the ADS blog.

It has been great fun blogging here at FIA.  I’ve loved bringing you lots of deals but after slow growth from naming the blog something that people felt wouldn’t help them, well, I feel compelled to bring more deals from more stores to my subscribers and potential subscribers. The economy here in the U.S. is about as bad as I have ever witnessed in my 55+ years and it is my hope to help many, many people to save $1000′s of dollars and live a better life from the deals I can bring you.

Walgreens Official Coupon Policy

Walgreens has published  Walgreens Official Corporate Coupon Policy!

General Guidelines

  • All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the time of checkout.
  • Walgreens does not accept expired coupons.
  • Coupons and their face value cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
  • Competitor coupons are not accepted at Walgreens.
  • Walgreens cannot accept coupons for items not carried in our stores.
  • The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register RewardsTM manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law.
  • Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines will be accepted at the discretion of Walgreens management.

Sale Items

  • Walgreens will accept manufacturer coupons for an item that is on sale.
  • In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.

Multiple Coupons

  • When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
  • The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
  • When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.

Buy One, Get One Free Coupons

  • When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
  • Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offers, if required by applicable state laws.

Internet/Print at Home Coupons

  • Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons.

Register RewardsTM coupons

Earning Register RewardsTM

  • Register RewardsTM will only print for in-stock merchandise during the promotional period.
  • Register RewardsTM can only be earned for eligible items. No substitutions.
  • There is a limit of one Register RewardsTM (RR) printed per offer per customer per transaction.
  • Customers redeeming a Register RewardsTM against the same offer may not receive another RR.

Redeeming Register RewardsTM

  • Customers redeeming a Register RewardsTM against the same offer may not receive another RR.
  • Refer to Register RewardsTM coupon for expiration date.
  • The RR coupon value cannot exceed the total purchase amount. No cash back and no cash value for RR coupon.
  • The number of manufacturer coupons, including RR manufacturer coupons, must not exceed the number of items in the transaction.
  • Register RewardsTM must be forfeited if the qualifying merchandise is returned.
  • Register RewardsTM cannot be used toward the purchase of gift cards and pre-paid cards.

Commissary: Now Accepting Specific Walgreens RRs!!!

Attention Commissary Shoppers!

It has been clarified on the DECA Facebook “Notes” Page that you can use Walgreen’s RRs as long as there are no store specific stipulations on them.

DeCA does not participate in Walgreens Register Rewards per se; however, we do accept the manufacturer coupons that print out on the registers at Walgreens and other retailers, provided the verbiage does not limit redemption only to the retailer advertised on the coupon. For example, if the manufacturer coupon states “Redeemable at” or “Redeem at,” we can accept it; if it states “Redeemable ONLY at” or “Redeem ONLY at,” we cannot.

While these coupons may reference Walgreens Register Rewards or have a Walgreens or another retailer’s logo printed on them, we are accepting these as a manufacturer’s coupon.

All commissaries were provided clarification on these types of coupons. If you experience any issues with redeeming them at your commissary, ask to see the manager on duty while you’re in the commissary or fill out a customer comment form at http://www.commissaries.com/YAL/customer_comments.cfm and let us know.

So read those coupons closely and watch for “ONLY” in the verbiage.
